Just in time for April 1st is the Blue Screen of Death Screensaver.

Bluescreen cycles between different Blue Screens and simulated boots every 15 seconds or so. Virtually all the information shown on Bluescreen's BSOD and system start screen is obtained from your system configuration - its accuracy will fool even advanced NT developers. For example, the NT build number, processor revision, loaded drivers and addresses, disk drive characteristics, and memory size are all taken from the system Bluescreen is running on.

I'm partial to the Phantom Keystroker - soooo want to put it on one of our test systems, during testing, just to F with everyone.

Well, I hope the family adage remains: "Only Daddy gets to mess with the computer." If it holds, this will be pretty frickin' hilarious.

Oops. Even though I laughed hysterically (I couldn't get the screensaver to work on its own-- my computer security wouldn't play nice), Cimmy didn't think it was as funny.

I definitely have to pick something more low-tech next year.
